Workshops for individuals

In today’s versatile world, addressing various social and emotional challenges, like trauma, is crucial for South African businesses and communities. Embrace Village offers a range of workshops specifically designed to help cultivate a healthier, more resilient community.

Our mission
Embrace Village is a ray of hope for people facing challenges stemming from historical trauma, violence, inequality, and social injustice. Our workshops promote understanding and effective interventions, helping build healthier, more resilient communities and advancing the journey to healing and reconciliation in South Africa. Our extensive research and experience highlight the importance of sharing knowledge on how various social challenges, including parenting, cultural differences, identity crises and trauma, affect daily life.

Workshop overview
Building on 30 years of experience in community engagement, the Embrace Village team has designed workshops based on scientific research and evidence-based practices. Using insights from neurobiology, developmental psychology, and social-emotional learning, our programs provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of various issues and its profound impact on individuals and communities.

Workshop structure
Our workshops are structured to fit the unique needs of each topic, with some unfolding over several sessions. They are all carefully designed to encourage active engagement and practical skill-building. Sessions include a mix of presentations, group discussions, case studies, and experiential exercises to ensure meaningful learning.
